Information
All functional tableware is made from a red stoneware clay that was selected for it's high rate of vitrification at the Cone 5/6 temperatures that I fire to in my kiln.
All glazes are food safe and do not contain any material identified as problematic or toxic by the USFDA.
The bottoms of all pots have been sanded smooth with a block diamond pad so you know you can set it on any surface with confidence.
Care
As with all things clay or glass, anything you may purchase from me will break if dropped. But if used with care, your item will last for generations.
Your item is food, microwave and dishwasher safe. You may see etching in the surface over time depending on your choice of dishwasher detergents. If this is a concern, please consider handwashing your tableware.
